UR обвинили Армина в плагиате.
Детройтское техно-подполье Underground Resistance на прошедших выходных объявило, что звезда транс-сцены Армин ван Бюрен «крадет культуру». Легендарная команда имела ввиду логотип и название UR, которые ван Бюрен использовал в анонсе своей новой резиденции в клубе Hï Ibiza, которая стартует по средам c 21 июня.
«Разве это не стыд? Что случилось с электронной креативностью? Какого хрена теперь все это завязано на деньгах??» — говорилось в посте Underground Resistance на фейсбуке.
Позднее, Армин отреагировал на обвинения, сказав, что название его резиденции «U R» не имеет ничего общего с детройтским коллективом и лейблом, а является старым концептом голландца под названием Universal Religion. Логотип же был создан в рамках дизайна бренда Armin van Buuren. При этом артист уточнил, что после консультаций решено не менять логотип Universal Religion. Alberto Sola
Alberto got graduated in Eletronic Music at the Barraca school in 2009 after five years of intense studies. He learnt Music History and practised with the most important djs all over the planet. Now it is his own time and he is starting in the production by himself. With masters like AFFKT and Active Sense, it was quite easy.
Having played most of the prominent clubs in Spain alongside important artists of the world like Tania Vulcano, 2000 and One, Magda, Guido Schneider, James Holden, Anja Schneider, Troy Pierce and others, Alberto has used his time in the booth to shape the sound he represents both in playing and producing today. His club credits in Spain include Barraca (Valencia), Goa (Madrid), Danzoo (Madrid), Industrial Copera (Granada), Emporio (Seville), Fever (Bilbao) and internationally at Suburbia (Italy), Arma 17 (Russia), Tresor (Germany), Kindergarten (Bologna), Bonn (Germany) and London (UK). In addition, he has participated in the most important festivals of electronic music in Eastern Spain at the Palmeres Festival and Electrosplash Tour respectively.
2009 saw the release of his first work alonside AFFKT, Big Cake, by Barraca Music, putting the first stone in that label, that now walks by itself. His new production ‘Medusa’ alongside Renace by the German label Weave, is already on the best digital and records shop. In the next months he’s going to release by International Freakshow, Quanticman Special and some remixes for No Dough, 7 Senses and Waldliebe.
